Reports to: Finance Manager

MetroMSP, LLC. is a small, fast-growing entrepreneurial technology IT consulting and service firm. We are looking for an Inside Salesperson/Sales Order Processor to take care of our Inside Sales opportunities for our clients. This position will include inside sales responsibilities and processing all aspects of the sales order needed for delivery of final solution. This position requires the ability to multi-task, attention to detail and organizational skills for tracking and following up with multiple items.

The following experience is needed:

  • 1+ years of inside sales experience or related industry experience
  • Prior purchasing and equipment processing
  • Knowledge of sales of software or computer related products
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Quoting and accounting software knowledge is a plus

Software experience requested: MS Office 2013, Quickbooks ConnectWise, Quosal

Activities and Responsibilities of the Position:

Inside Sales – 25% of Duties

  1. Generate sales leads, develop and deliver customer quotes to meet monthly quota
  2. Research correct IT equipment solution for quote
  3. Track and manage all third party licensing and renewals
  4. Develop and execute sales campaigns
  5. Work with telecom and ISP providers to develop quotes for customers
  6. Answer incoming customer service calls
  7. Follow up on sales orders and quotes
  8. Support yearly trade show

Sales Order Processing – 75% of Duties

  1. Order hardware and software for sales quotes
  2. Receive inventory
  3. Process sales order and service tickets to fulfill sales orders
  4. Tag, inventory and track received equipment
  5. Generate and process RMAs
  6. Track license expiration dates and ensure on time license renewal
  7. Process credit card and ACH payments
  8. Schedule Fed Ex and courier deliveries

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Workplace is primarily office and tech room environments but may also include customer sites
  • Ability to lift and move large, heavy objects such as servers/workstations
  • Travel is not required but may be possible in this position under certain training circumstances
